STATE

What is the Stream Temperature Analysis Tool and Exchange (STATE)?
STATE was created to help agencies collecting stream temperature data to: (1) automatically analyze their data in a consistent format for reporting purposes, and (2) share their data with others if they wish.  We also hope that by using STATE users will gain a greater appreciation for the thermal regime characteristics of streams in Ontario.

STATE is an example of the types of tools that could be developed for other stream data such as conductivity, flow and turbidity in Ontario. We chose an online format because it is low maintenance, easily accessible and readily updatable. We encourage you to explore STATE and review the STATE manual.

Statistical Summary Example
